  6. Añadimos el agua hasta cubrir, una pastilla de caldo de carne, o en su defecto, sal, y el tomate entero con unas rajitas en todo él, para que vaya soltando su jugo con la cocción.

    Cocemos a fuego medio.
  7. Cuando esté casi terminado, aplastamos unas poquitas patatas (3 o 4) con la misma paleta contra el lateral de la cazuela o perol para espesar el caldito, y añadimos un poco tomillo.

    También podemos aplastar un poco el tomate.
  8. Dejamos cocer otro ratito y listo!!!

    Mi tío que es un experto en la materia, siempre troceaba un ajito en brunoise y lo añadía al caldillo con el fuego ya apagado.

    Ahh! Y recuerda apartar la piel de tomate antes de servir o comer todos alrededor como es tradición en las romerías.
